There are many who want to start a business, but few who want to start something more. Ronny Tome is one of the few by creating his own cryptocurrency. To start such an endeavor takes a great deal of perseverance and courage. It also requires an impenetrable entrepreneurial spirit.
Ronny knew he wanted to become an entrepreneur at an early age. He wanted to create a business that people would truly appreciate. Ronny Tome began his entrepreneurial career after graduating from the University of Cologne in 1995. He moved to Bali where he worked in sales and marketing before starting the first of many businesses, a sales and marketing company for holiday ownership in two clubs. He also founded businesses where he became the sole importer and distributor of three different Austria and Germany-based beverages to five-star resorts and hotels in Indonesia as well as became a Master Franchisee for a German coffee house concept.
From there, he founded more businesses, venturing from beverages to the property business and developed various high-end properties in Bali. It was at this time he discovered the power of cryptocurrency. Ronny Tome made history over a US-$750,00 bitcoin transaction. He sold a villa in Bali for a number of Bitcoins worth $750,000, one of the first cryptocurrency real estate transactions and the largest Bitcoin transaction ever executed at that time — a record Ronny held for 18 months. Two years later, Ronny, together with a group of finance professionals and experienced entrepreneurs, founded the Fintech company Ducatus in Singapore. This began his passion for the crypto-economy. He saw how it could open more possibilities for peoples’ financial future. Hence, the vision to make Ducatus Coin (DUC) a cryptocurrency for mainstream adoption, supported by a unique business model. It is not a hacker-operated cryptocurrency.
Ronny Tome is committed to advancing Ducatus Coin’s place as the world’s most usable cryptocurrency. The Ducatus Group of businesses across the globe — including Ducatus Health, Ducatus Travel, Ducatus Properties, and Ducatus Cafe — promote and encourage the use of DUC in everyday living. Ronny Tome is known for creating new opportunities not only for his businesses but also for his customers. He is dedicated to seeing cryptocurrency, like DUC, gain a more mainstream embrace.
