Michael Weinberg is the executive director at the Engelberg Center on Innovation Law & Policy at NYU School of Law. He is also the board president at the Open Hardware Summit.
He has done extensive work in the 3D printing space and is considered an expert in the areas of innovation particularly in regards to hardware. Michael Weinberg spent time in the past at Shapeways which was a leading platform focused on product creation within the 3D printing industry.
Michael Weinberg also has been involved with Public Knowledge in the past as well. The organization is an advocate for open internet and accessible tools of communication. They also spend some time working on understanding and fighting for copyright laws.
