Andrew Elsoffer, a resident of Cleveland, Ohio, is a prominent soccer coach, community leader, and accomplished investment advisor with 25 years of experience. Andrew attributes his success in event management to his people-centric approach and commitment to delivering exceptional results.
Aside from his professional pursuits, Andrew is a passionate outdoorsman who enjoys engaging in hiking, cycling, kayaking, deep-water fishing, and horseback riding. Andrew also has a life-long passion for soccer.
His involvement with the sport began during high school, excelling in soccer, baseball, and hockey as a four-year varsity player. Notably, Andrew Elsoffer’s Shaker Heights Soccer Team reached the state’s final four—a triumph he attributes to the team’s collective effort and unwavering dedication. Andrew pursued soccer at a semi-professional level in Ann Arbor, Michigan, as a member of the Ann Arbor Cannon Soccer Club. He later transitioned to professional soccer, representing the Detroit Kickers from 1983 to 1984.
While simultaneously focusing on his career as a financial advisor, Andrew sought opportunities to remain connected to soccer. He turned to coaching and has dedicated over two decades to guiding various skill levels, including high school, college, and club teams. Additionally, he has served as the President of the Orange Crush Soccer League in his local community.
Andrew Elsoffer regards his coaching experience as one of the most fulfilling aspects of his life. During the season, he dedicates numerous evenings to training sessions and matches. Recognizing the impact he can have on the lives of young individuals, coaching provides Andrew with a significant opportunity to instill values such as teamwork and respect for individuality.
Andrew is a devoted family man and resident. His roles as the University of Michigan Event Specialist and Event Coordinator for the Avis Center of Excellence have allowed him to establish crucial ties within his community.

Question: What’s the most important thing we should know about you?
Andrew Elsoffer: I live to give. I am not focused on my own successes but on how I can lift and support others in their pursuits of life success.
Question: Name the most impactful lesson you learned from failure.
Andrew Elsoffer: Recovery from failure takes hard work, time, and patience. Failure is part of our character growth and necessary to drive our future accomplishments. Finally, never let failure define you.
Question: What accomplishment are you most proud of?
Andrew Elsoffer: My loyalty, devotion, and love/caring for my wife, son, and larger family. My unequivocal support of my Father as a quadriplegic and my Mother in her wheelchair-bound decade prior to her death in 2021. Twenty-three years as a High School and Collegiate Soccer Coach.
Question: What did you waste the most time on when you were first starting your career?
Andrew Elsoffer: Not a waste of time but rather a life and business lesson as I started a Major Events/Catering Company following my graduation from the University of Michigan, which lasted seven years.
Question: Name a tool you use for work that you can’t live without.
Andrew Elsoffer: My ears … a human tool that is indispensable in communicating with and understanding my clients.
Question: What is your favorite hobby and why?
Andrew Elsoffer: Biking. It can be done outside and inside all year long. I prefer the outside, as a better day is always spent doing an activity in the great outdoors!
Question: What excites you the most about your industry right now?
Andrew Elsoffer: I can deliver the best possible investment and financial planning advice with opportunities to build relationships based on strong communication and trust while leveraging 30 years of industry experience.
Question: What concerns you most about your industry right now?
Andrew Elsoffer: The complexity of investment vehicles and the extreme volatility of markets represent too great of a challenge for investors.
Question: What’s the greatest risk you’ve ever taken?
Andrew Elsoffer: A single-track bike ride in the mountains in Telluride, Colorado … a “look out below” experience.
Question: Name one small habit that positively impacts your productivity.
Andrew Elsoffer: Attention to detail reduces mistakes and promotes the positive flow of the business day and week.
Question: What tips do you have for getting a seat at the table?
Andrew Elsoffer: Every aspect of life comes down to a moment in time … be present and embrace your opportunities to share a seat at the table. Life is a team experience when it is done “right,” and when you as an individual bring “good” to the team, it elevates everyone “at the table”!

Andrew Elsoffer: Sundays with Morrie … a testimonial to how one may continue to give throughout life until the very end.
Question: Do you value intelligence or common sense more? Why?
Andrew Elsoffer: Common sense has greater value for me as the capacity of the mind to understand what makes sense is the ultimate intelligence.
Question: What would you consider to be the perfect day?
Andrew Elsoffer: A day spent with my wife, son, family, and friends in the great outdoors … starting with a beautiful sunrise, a day of fun activity, and festive meals ending with a peaceful sunset that reminds all of us how lucky we were to share a wonderful day!
